Who We Are

Who are we?

Nassawiyat (Feminists in Arabic) is an LBTQ womxn* and feminist group based in Morocco and that has been established for the aim to peacefully combat all forms of violences and discriminations in the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression against marginalized communities in Morocco.

Womxn*:

anyone who identify as women including; cis women, queer women, trans, non binary and gender nonconforming people

Our Vision

A Moroccan society where sexual, bodily, social, political, civil and cultural human rights the rights of all people are recognized, respected and promoted.


Our Mission

We advocate for LGBTQI+ human rights in Morocco via creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces for the community. We also do encourage and support the community to be visible and express their voices freely without fairs through artivism, campaigning and knowledge productions.


Our Values

We take an intersectional and feminist approach to our work and tools to fight all form of oppressions which we do believe are connected. As we recognize that sexual orientation, gender identity\ expression are connected and influenced by race/ethnicity, gender, culture, age, ability status, class, faith, and other social characteristics. We are engaged to promote equality so that all people live in dignity and respect.
